Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates who have  not studied  Biology in SSC or its equivalent  examination  are  NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for Pre-Medical Group in HSC Part-I.
Candidates from SSC General Group or its equivalent examination are NOT ELIGIBLE  to apply for Science Group (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering) in HSC Part-I.
Candidates with ‘O’ Levels are required to obtain Equivalence Certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen. Their admission would neither be confirmed nor regularized without the Equivalence Certificate.
Required Documents
Candidates, who have passed SSC Part-I (Class IX) Examination from any recognized Board and are appearing / have appeared in SSC Part-II (Class X) Annual Examination of the current year, are required to submit an attested photocopy of mark sheet of SSC   Part-I Annual Examination.
Candidates, who are appearing / have appeared in a composite SSC Annual Examination 2010 from any recognized Board (e.g. AKU-EB), are required to submit an attested photocopy of mark sheet of Preliminary/Mock Examination 2010conducted by the respective school.
Candidates, who are appearing / have appeared in an examination equivalent to SSC    (e.g. ‘O’ Levels) are required to submit an attested photocopy of mark sheet of Preliminary/Mock Examination 2009 conducted by the respective school.
In addition, all candidates are also required to bring:
  • Two passport-size colour photographs
  • Receipt of payment for prospectus

Note
From Academic Year 2010-11, Hunza Public School is introducing Computer Based Application Processing. Therefore, candidates are not required to fill a paper-based application form. The application forms will be filled directly in our Data Centre (located at HPS, Ali Abad) in the presence of the candidate. The candidates are required to report to HPS Ali abad with the above mentioned documents within three days of issuance of prospectus.
Please note that admission test will start from April 2011
The admission test has 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the maximum time allowed to answer these questions is 90 minutes. It will be a COMPUTER BASED TEST. There will be separate sections and set of questions for each group (Pre- Engineering, Pre-Medical and Commerce). The distribution of questions in each group is as under:

Please note that:
There is one (1) mark for each correct answer and a negative one-quarter (-1/4) mark for every wrong answer.
At the point of entry of computer lab, each candidate will receive a password in an envelope which will be required to log-in for the test. The admit card number will be used as the User-ID.
During the test, you will be allowed to change your answers as many times as you wish until the completion of the test or allotted time.
The system will provide a facility of Control Panel, which will be displayed on the left of the screen. On the Control Panel, computer will show:
  • the time remaining,
  • the list of attempted and not attempted questions, and
  • total number of questions left at a given time.
Every question will have four choices of answers. In addition to four choices, each question will have an option “No Response” listed as the first option. This option will be selected as a default. If a candidate does not want to attempt a question, she/he can select the option “No Response”. This will not be considered as a wrong answer.
Each question has only one right answer out of the given choices.
You will be provided a scratch paper that will be replaced after you have used both sides of it. You will not be allowed to bring your own scratch paper to the test, nor you can remove scratch paper from the testing room at any time. Scratch paper is provided to assist candidates in working out problems and for appropriate note taking during the test.
The computer screen will show a button labelled “Finish Test” (in the control panel) throughout the duration of the test. By pressing this button, candidate can submit the paper any time and she/he will be logged out from the test. The candidates will not be allowed re-login once this button is pressed.
In case the time allowed elapses, the candidate will be logged out from the test automatically.
